Two Halls. One Vision.
Crypto Hall
Host to the IACR Winter School on Lightweight Cryptography — the design and cryptanalysis of ciphers, hash functions and authenticated encryption for constrained devices, including the NIST lightweight standards, taught by leading researchers.
Cyber Hall
Post-quantum cryptography and AI-driven cybersecurity — migration to quantum-resistant standards, and machine learning for threat detection, secure system design and adversarial robustness.
Following the IACR Winter School on Symmetric Cryptography
In 2025, Air University Islamabad hosted the IACR Winter School on Symmetric Cryptography at this same venue, bringing international researchers together with students and practitioners from across Pakistan. PakCrypt Symposium 2026 builds directly on that programme — carrying it forward into lightweight cryptography, post-quantum migration, and AI-driven cyber defence.
